What would be a good colour scheme for a nail salon, thinking stylish.?

re-decorating our nail salon ideas for a colour scheme.,,,

i was thinking black and white??? if it would be bad,,, let us know.

really need feedback as to what would look good?

thanks to anyone that answers..What would be a good colour scheme for a nail salon, thinking stylish.?
Great choice! I would accent with nail polish colors, pinks and reds. Paint in a geographic design, don't just paint the walls. When people go into a salon they want to feel that they are in a modern up-to-date environment, that the workers there are in-the-know as to the latest trends and styles. How the Salon is decorated is an indication of that. What would be a good colour scheme for a nail salon, thinking stylish.?
for a nail salon you should have loads of colours but really bold colours like hot pink. who wants boring black and white nails? cuz thats what they'll think of when they see it.
Black and white is a great color scheme, but you need an accent color. I would suggest a pale turquoise, something like 'Shoal Water' blue or a maybe deep red. But I would look around to see what the other salons look like and make mine different.

I like small neon 'Open' signs too, they make me feel like they want me to come in, like a smiling face.
Pink or Blue with Silver? Black and White would look like a kitchen imo?
Well, this is a hard one to answer, as you gave us sooo little info... like what color are your tables, your chairs, etc... But I'll give it a shot anyway...

Black and white would work, as long as EVERYTHING is black and white. The floors, the walls, the chairs, the tables, the towels, the frames on the walls, the photos, etc. THE ONLY COLOR would be the nailpolish and the nail stuff and they would be displayed artistically. The only problem with black and white is it may feel quite sterile and you'll get bored real quick. Here's a nail salon (look at the bottom pic) that's black and white:

and another one... kinda boring...

Have you considered going zen? This will relax your customers, make them feel good, and make them tip better!

Consider this color scheme: Soft pink walls, dark coffee brown furniture, silver accessories.

Or consider natural colors... natural colors give your rooms a feeling of oppulence and richness... walk the walk... people will think your salon is a major success if you decorate it as if it is.... Here's a link of a nail salon image using rich, natural colors:

I hope you find what you're looking for to make your nail salon a success...
My hair salon has just won the best in the UK and its white with black furniture.. black outfits.. black towels.. huge mirrors and it doesn't feel at all stark in fact it wasn't til I looked at your question that I realised that was what the colour scheme was. It feels relaxing and luxurios and I know that I'm going to be pampered.
Black and white would be very contemporary, but kind of cold. I would prefer going into a salon to see a lot of earth tones with calming music. Would make me fell like I walked into a resort spa and would be more luxurious. I think a salon of tans and sage greens with greenery around would be more ';ritzier';. People will pay more to have services done at a place they feel is more lucrative. Black and white is just very common around where I live and seems cheap.
