What colour nail polish should I put on? And what fingers mean what?

I need 2 colours. Cuz I use one colour to colour all my nails except my right ring finger and left index finger with the other colour.





When I got my nails done the lady was saying that the index finger =happiness, the ring finger =love....does anyone else know the rest? just curious and are there reasons?What colour nail polish should I put on? And what fingers mean what?
Just know those two as well. I think you should paint them purple. I love purple and that color is in this fall! I know its not fall yet but a light purple is pretty. :)
