What colour nail varnish should I get for my mother?

my mum has bitten her nails for as long as i can remember, and just recently she suddenly stopped. I wanted to get her some nail varnish but I'm not sure what colour or make to go for. I want something reasonably priced, will last her a few days. She is very conservative and since nails and colour are all new to her, I don't want to shock her. Any suggestions?What colour nail varnish should I get for my mother?
Reds are ALWAYS good for a 'conservative' look.

Natural! Go for light colours, pink, peach, im currently wearing a lovely shade from Revlon- In the buff, it's a peachy colour and it's natural but gives colour. I think start off with something light maybe from Collection 2000, Rimmel, (If you're in the UK then visit Superdrug, they have wonderful brands such as 2true, where you can pick 3 things, so for you 3 nail varnishes for 拢5), and then move on to more darker colours, so you could buy her a natural peach, a light pink, then a gold, and move on to darker shades such as purple, blue and brighter ones. well,there is lots of cheap makes, by cheap i don't mean they look cheap , i mean they are priced cheap. collection 2000, 2true. don't go for anything like Barry because they are very overpriced. also , because shes your mother she wont want anything kiddy like neon colours. go for pale colours like a pale pink. or even clear just to give it a shine. french manicure is always good. you can get a white to do the tips , and then after you have painted the tips you paint over the nail with pale pink when dry. that is very sophisticated and definitely not a kiddy look.

go for a clear polish, it will just give her the nice natural look and will leave her with clear shiny nails. this wont cost you more than $4 (拢2)

how about something plain like:





pink /peach colour,


or try a color that matches her personality. I'm sure whatever colour you get her she will like it.

try pale pastel colours, that look almost see through, but still pretty.
